On the occasion of Padmashree Dr. S.R. Ranganathan’s 129th Birth Anniversary also celebrated as ‘‘National Librarian’s Day’’.

Department of Library and Information Science, SPES’s Goa Multi-Faculty College, Dharbandora has organized exhibition to pay homage to our freedom fighters and showcase their contributions to the freedom struggle, as part of Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav, the celebration of 75 years of India’s independence from 12/03/2021 to 19/03/2021.

Department of Library and Information Science and IQAC, SPES’s Goa Multi-Faculty College, Dharbandora-Goa celebrated 75 years of India’s Independence- “Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav” on 12th March 2021 intending to create awareness about the origin of the Indian Freedom struggle and the journey of Indian Independence movement thereafter by ​Mr. Ganesh Misal.

Department of Library and Information Science and NDLI Club , SPES’s Goa Multi-Faculty College, Dharbandora-Goa conducted online quiz on “Republic  Day” from 26th – 27th January 2021​.

Ms. Nisha Sawant bagged first place and Ms. Kalpita Naik secured the second position. The competition evoked a good response amongst the participants.

Mr. Mahesh Gaonkar bagged first place and Ms. Ravina Matkar secured the second position. The competition evoked a good response amongst the participants.

Department of Library and Information Science created a flyer on Awareness about COVID-19 Prevention. 

An attempt to supply quick access to additional info digitally, the SPES’s Goa Multi-Faculty College, Dharbandora-Goa on September 01st, 2020 launched the first club of the National Digital Library of India (NDLI) within the state Goa for its the students and  college staff. It was inaugurated as a part of the NDLI’s movement for Integrated Digital Learning across India under the support of the Ministry of Human Resource Development.
